Due to the re-organization of the legislative districts, all officers will need to be elected. Precinct Committeemen who were elected and/or appointed prior to March 27, 2012 will be permitted to vote for the LD24 officers. The positions that we will be voting for are, Chairman, 1st Vice Chair, 2nd Vice Chair, Recording Secretary , Corresponding Secretary and Treasurer. A nomination committee has been appointed to handle nominations for these positions. All nominations need to be sent in writing, no later than Monday, June 11, 2012, to:

Online you may review the rules which will be our guidelines for the meeting a set of district bylaws for your consideration . Since LD24 is a new district and to save time, I am proposing that we adopt some generic bylaws to get us started. After reorganization we can form a committee to review the bylaws and make any changes that the district deems necessary. Those can be found at:

2012 LD-15 Caucus, Electing State Quadrennial Convention Delegates
This is a call for the Delegate selection meeting and nominations. Please verify receipt of this letter by e-mail (or phone if you don’t have e-mail access.)
For purposes of electing the delegates to attend the Republican National Convention in August of 2012, the Continuing Bylaws of the Arizona Republican Party, (January,2011) Article VI Section B states:
There shall be one delegate and one alternate from each county for each 1,000 registered Republicans, or major fraction thereof, as of December 31st immediately preceding the state convention. Delegates and alternates shall be duly qualified Republican electors. The delegates and alternates to each congressional district caucus shall be the delegates and alternates from such congressional district to the state convention. There shall be no proxies for either delegates or
alternates,(at the state convention)
Section C states:
Only precinct committeemen of record as of December 31st immediately preceding the state convention are eligible to vote at the district caucuses. In counties of 500,000 or more population, a precinct committeeman can only be elected.
* reapportionment legislation continue to function along with the new district organizations created in accordance with A.R.S. 16-823 (D), only those delegates and alternates elected from the district organizations in effect before passage of the reapportionment shall be eligible to vote at the state convention.
On April 12, 2012, LD 15 caucus will elect delegates plus alternates to the State Convention, to be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Grand Canyon University, 33rd Avenue and Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ.
Proxies are not permitted at the Caucus or State Convention. If you run for a delegate position, plan to attend the Convention.
LD-15 Caucus will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 7:00 p.m., at the Arizona Republican Headquarters, 3501 North 24th Street, Phoenix. Proxies are not permitted.
Any precinct committeeman or registered Republican, in LD 15, desiring to run for a state delegate position shall submit a nomination request by April 6th, using email or posted letter. Your nomination must include all items in the form attached.
DEADLINE: Your name will appear on the ballot only if your email or posted letter of intent is received by Carol Condit or Roger Pongratz, no later than 11:59 p.m. on April 6, 2012.
