Arizona native who grew up in Superior
UofA graduate with degrees in political science, economics, and education
Master of public policy degree from the University of Chicago
Social studies teacher at Tucson High Magnet School for 4 years, including in the infamous Raza Studies program. Awarded a Fulbright-Hays fellowship to travel to Morocco to create instructional curricula during THMS tenure.
Graduate assistant for Newt Gingrich at the American Enterprise Institute during summer and fall of 2004.
